UltraPanel PRO is a Content Management System (CMS) written entirely in PHP and uses MySQL for database access.

Built into UltraPanel PRO is an eCommerce system that is fully integrated with Paypal, Google Checkout, Authorize.net, and
UltraCart. Any other transaction servers available are not difficult to implement upon request, should a developers API
be available.
Because focus has been made for eCommerce, special consideration has been made to emphasize security. A rotating 256 bit
cookie ensures every transaction is secure. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is easy to setup and use for sites that handle
realtime transactions.
One of the main features of UltraPanel PRO is the administrative backend interface. Creating categories for products, adding
products, and assigning those products to categories is easy! Also detailed traffic reports for website visitors gives
the administrator a full breakdown of website usage. A new feature is the web robot filter that allows the administrator
to filter out Googlebot, Yahoo Crawler, and a variety of different web spiders. The administrator can also filter out
their own access, ensuring every hit in the weblog is an actual web surfer.
In addition to these features, a coupon generator allows coupons to be created for use on other websites or web sources. Included in this is an affiliate manager that will track the source of generated sales that use coupons. This module is
not difficult to modify should rewards or payouts for affiliate sales be needed.
Another top priority is the actual speed of the website. To fix this, UltraPanel PRO contains no more than 15 megabytes of source code. While other CMS packages contain upwards one gigabyte of code, UltraPanel PRO is able to deliver the same
functionality without the bloat. Because the source code has much less size and scope, the page will render quicker, security issues are avoided, and overall the product becomes much more stable.
While the actual size of the package is one thing, another important factor is the structure of the database. UltraPanel PRO
uses dynamic databases. These are also indexed for fast queries and much care has been taken to ensure they are not threaded.
Other CMS packages use dynamic databases in a way that can cause a new table to be created for each element in a database. Then if additional parameters are set on this entry, another threaded table is created. In turn, this can cause database threading. A side effect of this causes website slowdown any time a query is performed. With each nested table in the database, a slow JOIN or UNION query is needed to fetch the data. Also normally a looped query is needed, when in a non-threaded database, only one query is needed.
To complete an easy-to-use interface in a CMS package, templating has been created to make it easy to deal with cross-browser
compatibility, and overall site consistency. Instead of creating a unique page for each peice of content on the site, headers, footers, navigation bars, and side bars have been added. Not only does this make it easy to create new content
without having to build the whole page, banner areas, navigation, and help content is built in to help users have a
problem free experieince.
